Quiltmaker Magazine

Quiltmaker's Super-Size Nine Patch free pattern

Quiltmaker Magazine is one of the Project Linus sponsors for Make-A-Blanket Day. They have free patterns on their website. Of special interest is a very simple one-block "nine patch". 3 yards of fabric makes three crib-sized quilts.

Click on Quiltmaker Magazine Super-Sized Nine Patch pattern to head over to Quiltmaker Magazine site. The pattern is available in Adobe Acrobat format for downloading.

Our own Quiltmaker Jo Stauffer mentioned that this is such a wonderful pattern (Thanks Quiltmaker Magazine!) that we can use it in a larger size, to better correspond to our blanket needs. Download Larger Super-Sized Nine Patch directions for a 38"x45" version.

The 2000 Quiltmaker Project Linus pattern is called "Warm Wishes". Click on Quiltmaker Warm Wishes.

Quiltmaker's simple applique patterns are found if you Click on Quiltmaker Make Mine Applique! The turtles and apples on these quilts are simple applique from easy Quiltmaker Magazine patterns.
