Look at those piles of blankets! Our crochet/knitting blanketeers are something, aren't they?

You can tell the Dove Church Quilting Bee was both productive and fun! These ladies are surely working hard to make these blankets special for the children. WOW!

Thanks Gracie and Sherran for all the great pictures!

Bruce and Priscilla gather blankets and deliver to the grateful ladies at the maternity ward. What fun!

We love to see pictures of what everyone else is doing! Great job, ladies. ;-)

Love to see work by our young blanketeers!

April, 2007 Quilting Bee is a success! Beautiful quilts and beautiful friendship.

Our quilting bees are lots of fun. Come even if you aren't an experienced quilter! All are welcome.

Surely a good time was had by all at the 2007 Make-a-Blanket Day held at Brubakers Sewing Center on February 17, 2007.

Check-in desk and the tying table.

Lots of smiling faces as we "worked". Perhaps we should say "played". Thanks to Sherran, Brubakers, and all the ladies that worked so hard to make this a special day for us all.

Beautiful quilts donated at the event, and made during our fun day of quilting.

We had cake and goodies, and Janome and Brubakers had the Grand Prize drawings including a new Janome sewing machine. Thanks, Brubakers! Rita Barranco won the floor sewing lamp, and Bonnie Brubaker was the proud winner of the Janome sewing machine.

There's a newly formed Linus Club at Lancaster Mennonite High School. These hand-tied quilts were made by LMHS blanketeers and presented to Project Linus. THANK YOU!...

A great time was had by all at the annual "Thank you" appreciation tea for blanketeers: a wonderful lunch, door prizes for all, blankets to "ooh" and "aah" over, and a slide show of events and blankets.

Looks like great fun! for all ages at the Dove church as they make quilts for Project Linus. The New-Fashioned Sewing Circle Day on October 14th was an overwhelming success. The goal was to have 50 finished blankets, but they were able to do 75 or 80! There were about 35 enthusiastic workers from 5 years old to 80+. The five-year-old especially had a wonderful time! Several asked when we are going to do this again...

What beautiful blankets and blanketeers!

Don't be fooled. They look like they're having a great time (true), but they're also working hard.

Lots of creativity and talent at this sewing retreat! Beautiful quilts here that children are sure to cherish.

Ladies hard at work! This Quilting Bee was held at St. Anne's in Lancaster.

These are a few of the lovely quilts collected at the August, 2006 quilting bee. THANK YOU to our blanketeers! That's an exciting part of the quilting bee - we get to "ooh" and "aah", get creative inspiration from our fellow blanketeers.

Thank you Lindsey...and your "fellow" Girl Scouts!

Blankets for TAPS Program: Blankets will be distributed to children of our fallen heroes during a grieving camp Memorial Day weekend 2006.

Looks like fun!

Moms and children...helping other Moms and children.

50 Blankets! These ladies were busy!

2nd annual donation of fleece blankets from NorthHills Elementary School Service Club. We received 28 blankets from these wonderful Blanketeers!

Quilting Bee held at St. Anne's. A good time was had by all!

Kathy Van Gorden is putting her new Janome machine to work for Project Linus! Kathy won her machine at Brubakers Sewing Center on Make-a-Blanket-Day 2006.

Sherran is putting her new embroidery machine to work for Project Linus!

North Hills Elementary Service Club donates fleece blankets for the Burn Camp.

That's the Linus Spirit!
