7/13/05 companies 17,25,07,08,and ambulance 12 and 02 were dispacted for a dwelling fire at 128 bartram ave. 25-9(bob bernauer) arrived on location reporting heavy smoke from side d basement possible subjects trapped. Ladder 17 led off with 1"3/4 finding heavy fire in the basement.Their primary and secondary search came up negative. 25-12(joe sprague)and vince sprague entered the connecting house and found two subjects trying to exit the building. Search of the building showed no extention, but heavy smoke. 25-9A(lou Clarke Sr.)later brought out the occupants dog. The dog is expected to make aa full recovery. One firefighter was taken to the hospitol with minor injuries.
