About Sarver MOPS

While MOPS is a Christian based group (see our mission statement) it is not a Bible study. Sarver MOPS aspires to be a place where any and every mother of preschoolers can come to be comforted, refreshed and valued. We welcome you to come as you are and be ready for real down to earth freindships.
How Do I Register & How Much Does it Cost?
Our MOPS group meets at Christ Community Fellowship in Sarver, PA. You can come and check out a meeting before registering. Just contact our Coordinator, Sherri Smith (724.845.3377) beforehand so that we can make sure to have childcare available.
Playgroups are FREE and OPEN to all moms who would like to meet other moms in this special stage of life. We meet at the playground in the Pittsburgh Mills. You can contact Kim Vivirito (724.224.4967 or kvivirito@verizon.net) for more information.
Registration for the Fall semester is $40.00.
PLEASE KNOW that scholarships are available and are completely confidential! Do NOT let money be the reason you miss out on MOPS!
$23.95 of Fall dues goes directly to MOPS International, which pays for your MOPS to Mom Connection Magazine and "Life On Planet Mom" a book by Lisa T. Bergren; the remainer goes toward our local group for crafts, events, hospitality, etc. Once your registration is processed with MOPS International, you will receive:
Registration for the Spring is $20.00 & covers crafts, speakers, childcare an end of year lunch & much more.
MOPS is here for EVERY mother of preschoolers. Please do not let money be a factor in your decision to join our group. We have scholarships available & this information is kept in strict confidence.

You will also need to fill out a MOPPETS registration form for each child that will be attending our MOPPETS program. This will assist the chilcare volunteers on how to better care for your child. All information is for group use only & is kept confidential. Our childcare volunteers have current clearance checks that allow them to work with young children & are qualified in CPR & 1st Aid proceedures.
