WELCOME TO MOPS! (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS is about ... celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, experiencing God’s love...through relationships and resources.
Our goal is to reach out to mothers of young children and fulfill your unique needs at this stage of life. We aim to meet some of those needs by providing real relationships with other moms. We welcome ALL moms of preschoolers--urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, single, married, and teen. We have a day group that meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month (9:30-11:30 a.m.) & an evening group that meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7p.m. from September through May at Christ Community Fellowship Church in Sarver, PA (our chartering ministry).
During the daygroup, children can be dropped off at the church nursery beginning at 9:15 am. We are working on getting childcare for the evening group. If you would like more information before visiting, please contact Sherri Smith at 724.845.3377 or Tanya Schacte at 724.842.0219.

Tell a Friend! MOPS is an outreach ministry. It's open to every mom in the community! If you know of any mother of preschoolers who could use a lift, be sure to tell them about MOPS.
Our theme this year is Together On Planet Mom!
The MOPS Experience equips women for the joys and challenges of their lives as moms. One key factor in the MOPS Experience is the relationships built within a group. Time and time again, MOPS moms share that the friends they make in MOPS are significant for this season of their life and on into their future. God created us for relationship! It’s one of the defining parts of being human.
However, when you become a mom, all your relationships change. It’s like you have landed on a different planet—Planet Mom—and the relationships on Planet Mom don’t look like the ones on your previous planet. Your relationship with yourself is different—you are a mom! Your relationship with your husband, girlfriends, extended family, community and God have all changed. Many of these changes are positive, some are not. Even positive change requires adjustments on your part.

The loving children of Sarver MOPS are seeking childcare volunteers to staff the nursery during MOPS meetings, held the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. as well as their Steering meetings held the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Even if you can only help 1 time per month, please call us. Just that little bit of help could make the difference between a mom and child getting that extra support they need during this season of their life.
You can help minister to the children in either the nursery, toddler, or preschool classes.“MOPPETS” caregivers are compensated with a healthy dose of preschool hugs and moms’ undying gratitude. (not to mention a few goodies throughout the year)
We are also seeking seasoned moms who would be willing to share their wisdom with our group. We call these moms “Mentor Moms”
