VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE & MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS

The Volunteers throughout the Minsi Trails Council are eligible, through their employers, for volunteer incentive programs. The programs may be in the form of a matching grant, a contribution for hours volunteered or a contribution for council projects.

In most cases, you'll need to complete a portion of the application from your company and then send it to Minsi Trails Council office for approval. The Council will complete the remaining portion of the form, making validation and forwarding the application to the company for processing. It's important to note that due to IRS regulations, these grants are not intended for individual units. Please contact your Human Resource Department or Corporate Foundation for more details or to detertmine if your company has a matching gift program.

Below is a list of companies that match charitable donations. If the company that you work for is on the list below and you made a donation to our friends of scouting campaign this year, please approach your companies administrator for the paperwork to match your donation!

If you and/or your unit are interested in taking CPR and/or First Aid courses, check out the Red Cross because they offer various Training Courses. If your unit signs-up for any of the Red Cross training courses, the Red Cross will donate $50 for each participant to our District's FOS campaign on behalf of your unit! What a win-win situation!
