December Holiday Party

Dinner at 12 Noon.

Meal is a choice of Sliced Top Round of Beef or Potato Crusted Cod. Cost $16.50.

Chapter Meetings
Our chapter meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, except for June and December when we have a Summer and Holiday party. We meet at the VFW on the Carlisle Pike (Map).

Join us for lunch starting at 11:30 and/or at 12:30 for a short business meeting with speaker.

The lunch price is $7.00 which includes a sandwich OR a hot entree. Both include soup, dessert, and beverage. Reservation not required.

The scheduled speakers include:

November: Speaker Martie Kunkel, formerly with Fry Communications will speak about Valerie Rae Smith, actor in show called "Between Two Chairs."
Voting on Officer for 2010 and NARFE Dues Referendum.

December: Holiday Party

Chapter membership is open to civilians who are or will be elegible to receive an annuity or survivor annuity from the federal retirement programs of any agency of the United States Government, including:
* Retirees,
* Current employees,
* Spouses,
* Surviving spouses of those eligible to join NARFE,
* Former employees, and
* A former spouse who is legally entitled to a federal survivor annuity.

Legislation
NARFE's legislative program is crafted by its members at a national convention held in the year immediately preceding the beginning of each new Congress. Through a resolution procedure originating at the local chapter level, the process culminates at the national convention with the adoption of specific legislative policy goals. Once approved, the goals become NARFE's legislative program for the next Congress.
