Welcome to the North Valley District Website (Updated 06/29/09)
The North Valley District is the largest of 6 geographic areas of the Minsi Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, headquartered in the Lehigh Valley, PA. The North Valley District serves the boundaries of the following school districts: Catasauqua Area, Jim Thorpe Area, Lehighton Area, Northampton Area, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Palmerton Area, Parkland, and Whitehall-Coplay.

• New BSA Medical Form:
BSA has released a new medical form. This form, as well as the older Class 1 & 2, and Class 3 medicals, are approved for 2009. The new forms are mandatory after January 1, 2010. Please inform your parents, unit leaders and youth members of this change so that when they go for their sports, school, or annual physical, they can take the new forms with them. These new forms provide for audio-visual, medical care, and medical information release forms which are most important and therefore should be used as soon as possible to insure the utmost safety of our members if an emergency occurs.

North Valley Roundtables are for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing Leaders. They are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month, beginning 7:30 PM at the Washington Building, Northampton Area School District, 2389 Main Street. Typically, the Boy Scout and Venturing Scout Leaders meet in one room and the Cub Scout Leaders meet in a different room. Sometimes there are joint sessions.
