Ordination
By the Grace of God, Fr. Robert Edmondson was consecrated a bishop in historical Apostolic Succession on June 26th 2005. His lineages are from Sts. Peter, John the Evangelist, Andrew, Paul, Thomas, and James. His main lineage is The Roman Catholic Rebiban Succession viaThe Duarte-Costa lineage. Archbishop Samuel Guido, with four other bishops consecrated Fr. Edmondson. Bishop Guido's consecrators were Archbishops Peter Paul Brennan of the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of the Americas,Nils Bertil Persson of the Episcopal Apostolic Church of Sweden, and Irl Gladfelter of the Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church. On August 23rd, 2005 Bishop Edmondson was elevated to Achbishop. Bishop Edmondson was baptised and confirmed Roman Catholic and joined the Proestant Episcopal Church in the late 1960's. He was ordained December 8, 1973 at Mountain Lakes, NJ. Ministry devoted to Our Lady of Fatima. Motto, Pro Do Et Ecclesia (For God and Church).
Ministry
As a minister of the Gospel, His Excellency served in parishes in Mountain Lakes, NJ, Peace Dale, RI, and Jeffersonville, IN. He also worked for the Rhode Island Council of Churches. With nearly 30 years of service with the US Army and Army Reserve, he served 16 years as an Army Chaplain. He has also served as a Chaplain in Civil Air Patrol since 1975.

Military Service Commissioned a Second Lieutenant US Army Corps of Engineers in 1968. Aide de Camp to the Commanding General of the Corps of Engineers 1968-70. Appointed to Chaplain Corps 1975. Unit Chaplain of the Year 1985. Served with 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps, Headquarters US Army Reserve Officers Training Corps, Headquarters NATO, Exchange Officer to West German Defense Ministry and Royal Belgium Army. Also served in the Department of the Army and Department of Defense, and as an Advisor to the President. Lt General Edmondson received his first star in 1997. |
