The registration sessions for 2009 Spring Baseball & Softball sign ups are complete.

SPRING 2009 REGISTRATION

Members registering for the 2009 spring baseball & softball season can download a 2009 Registration Form and bring the form to registration.

The registration sessions for 2009 Spring Baseball & Softball sign ups are complete.

At time of registration, we can not guarentee your child or children will be on a specific team or with specific coaches, however please list your request on the registration form and we will do the best we can.

Doors will be locked until the exact start time of the registration day. The volunteers need time to get the stations setup and running before the doors can be opened.

REGISTRATION SPECIFICS

All registrations are being held in the main hall of the Zephyr Park Community Building located at 1975 Schadt Avenue.

Registrations are open to anyone who would like to play baseball or softball for SAPPARA within the Whitehall School District:

  • Boys 5 – 16 (boys can't turn 16 before May 1st)
  • Girls 5 – 18 (girls can't turn 18 before January 1st)

Costs associated with the SAPPARA Baseball & Softball Program:

1st Child Registration Fee:$45
2nd Child Registration Fee:$30
Each Additional Child Fee:$20
Family Membership Fee:$15
1st Fundraiser:$ 52.00 for box of candy **OR** $35.00 buy-out
2nd Fundraiser:TBD

FUNDRAISERS

For the 2009 season, One fundraiser will be held during registrations. Each registered player must partake in the fundraising event -- regardless of the number of players registered for a given family. For example, if a family registers four children for baseball/softball then each of the four players must partake in the fundraising event.

The fundraiser involves the sale of candy. Purchase a $52.00 box of candy at registration, sell the entire box and redeem your entire $52.00 -- cash outlay of $0.00. If you wish to not partake in the fundraiser then a one time buy-out fee of $35.00 is payable at registration.

<WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO REGISTRATION

  • Original or copy of Legal Birth Certificate
  • Physician’s Information (Name, Phone #)
  • Emergency Contact Data (Names and Phone #s)
  • Health Insurance Information (Company Name & Plan ID)
  • Special Medical Needs Data
  • Check Book or other means of payement (No Credit or Debit cards)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR REGISTRATION DAYS

We are in need of Volunteers to be at the Zephyr Park building a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the start of their assigned shift and will need an extra 15 minutes past the end of their shift to allow for cleanup. Persons assigned to work a station are responsible to get their station all setup and ready for the day's events and for cleanup of their station at the end of the day.

To make the registration process as smooth as possible, we need volunteers to help us staff the registration days. If you would like to help us out, send contact any member of the Schadt Avenue Board of Directors.
