Join us for Pizza and Hot Dogs. Gifts for the children given out by a special guest. Please bring a dessert or a dozen cookies. RSVP by November 25th. No RSVP's accepted later than December 1st.

Beginning Saturday, November 7th and continuing through Sunday, December 31stth our organization will be running a Five Below Shopping Fundraiser. Five Below is a fun shop located near Giant in Whitehall. Everything in the store is priced $5.00 and under. Items in this store include anything from fun toys, games, books, snacks, room accessories to GREAT stocking stuffers. It really is a fun place to shop! If you shop at Five Below during this period and hand them the included flyer, when checking out our organization will make 10% of those total sales. A copy will also be sent out via email and a PDF Flyer copy posted on our website that can be printed out as well. Please feel free to make more copies and give them to all your friends.

SAPPARA is an all-volunteer organization providing a safe and healthy environment for the youth of Whitehall and surrounding communities. We provide a range of facilities, organized sports and specialty activities for the youth and young at heart. The following are just some of the programs and activities provided SAPPARA:

Association Meetings:
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Our yearly Easter Egg hunt for Children ages 1 to 11. This event is open to paid SAPPARA members and their families. The hunt will be held on the grounds of Schadt Avenue Park.
SAPPARA is looking for volunteers and coordinators for this year's Easter Egg hunt. If you are interested, please call the Heather Packenham at 610-432-2059
Needed Immediately!!
We are still looking for volunteers to serve on the concession stand committee. The concession stand is a vital part to the success of our organization. We need a group of 8-10 volunteers to help with keeping the concession stand stocked and organized, and opening and closing the stand. If you would like to get more involved in our organization, now is the time! We need volunteers ASAP. We will be having our first committee meeting near the end of March. The Zephyr Park Community Center building is available for rental. The building includes the following amenities:
- Tables & Chairs
- Handicap Accessible Parking & Bathroom
- Kitchen ( No Stove or oven )
- Large hall with room for 150+ people (may need additional tables and chairs

For exact rental information, please call our community center at 610-799-2565. This is a non-smoking building.
CONGRATULATIONS! SAPPARA now has an official playground committee and chairperson. The group is working together to plan for new playground equipment and to provide long term planning for a tot-lot. The team is also working with the township to apply for grants and funding through numerous public and private organizations.
Your help is always appreciated. Come to one of our membership meetings if you want to steup-up and get involved with the future of our community.
**** 2009 FIELD WORK PARTY *****
The Annual Field Work Party will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 AM.
We have five existing fields that need our yearly care, two batting cages that need our yearly setup, concession stand and other building items that must be completed.
To get an idea of how much work there is, here is a sample of the items that need to be completed:
