RED HAT SOCIETY

After prompting from friends, I registered a chapter with the Red Hat Society on February 27, 2007. I pondered what name to give to this newly formed group. As a child my favorite movie on TV was The Three Musketeers with the motto, "All For One and One For All". I loved the adventures, the dedication, and the camaraderie these men shared and as a bonus they wore hats with big feathered plumes. When thinking of a name for a group of ladies with feathered hats out for adventure and fun what else could I do but call us The Scarleteers. I then adapted their motto to one more appropriate for us and The Scarleteers were born.

ROYAL DECLARATIONS

I would like to welcome you to The Scarleteers website. We are a rather new chapter and open to new members. We meet twice a month, the 2nd and last Wednesdays, at 11:30 a.m. for our Hat & Chat luncheon. Our locations change so if you are interested in coming to one of our lunches, please email me and I will let you know where we are currently meeting. This is an informal time of getting together to catch up on news and make plans for future events. This is a good time for us to get to know each other better and have a little fun.

We have many ladies that are still working and cannot make our Hat & Chat so we try to have an evening or weekend activity at least once a month. This varies from an "in home" activity to going out for a fun evening. Please check our calendar for some already scheduled activities. This is always changing so please check the calendar often.
