Camp Cadet Eligibility 

You must be:

  • at least 12 years old but not older than 14 by the start of Camp
  • a resident of the area served by Troop B (Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington and the South Western part of Westmoreland County)
  • in Good physical condition
 
Activities
Each day begins at 0600hrs

Each cadet then participates in the morning run and Physical Fitness Training.

It is then time for breakfast.

Throughout the day cadets receive instruction and participate in activities presented by the State Police and other agency's.
This year's presentations will include appearances by the State Police Motorcycle Unit, a radar demonstration, Pa State Police Special Emergency Response Team and a State Police Helicopter landing at the camp for a first hand look.

Members of the following organizations will be present to discuss their duties, answer questions and give demonstrations:
Federal Bureau of Investigation, U S Secret Service, Game Commission, and the Pa Air National Guard.

Each evening after dinner allows time for sporting activities such as softball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Lights out is at 2230hrs

It is a week filled with excitement that will not soon be forgotten
