About ten WOSA members were given a tour of a state-of-the-art veneer manufacturing facility in Williamsport. This event was hosted by our sister organization, the Lycoming Woodland Owners Association. Sorry, no pictures yet.

May - Grow Your Own Mushrooms

Co-sponsored by the Western PA Mushroom Club, and with cooperation from Shawnee State Park, WOSA hosted a mushroom walk and grow-your-own-shitake-mushrooms workshop on Saturday, May 7. Over 50 attendees went home with knowledge and a log or two that will provide their families with healthy food for years!

Saturday, June 18, - Tree Walk in Downtown Bedford

Ben Tresselt led a walking tour of street trees in Bedford. 10 attendees learned about urban forestry and had so many questions for Ben, the walk continued for over two hours.

Saturday, September 17, 9 am - Walk to End Alzheimer's
