In 2005, WOSA established its Scholarship Award Program. It is available to high school seniors and college students from Bedford and Fulton counties who intend to pursue a degree in Forest Resources. Career opportunities include Forester, Community Forester, Forest Hydrologist, Wildlife Biologist, Wood Products Professionals, Fisheries Biologist, Herpetologists (Reptiles) and Wood Chemist. Interested students complete an application which includes their grade average, SAT scores and school and community activities in which they’ve participated.
