AIHA_Logo.jpgWelcome to the Aquidneck Island Horseman's Asso. Inc.                                                     The Aquidneck Island Horseman's Association has been a vital part of the larger horse community of the state of Rhode Island. The club started in 1982 for the purpose of furthering the interests of the horse owners on the island but grew to include the surrounding towns of Tiverton, Little Compton and Bristol among others. Some members even hail from outside of the state of Rhode Island. AIHA educates its members on trail etiquette and safety for all trail users.

An Event which has proven to be the club's largest fund raiser is the annual Hunter Pace which is held every October. Proceeds raised have enabled AIHA to donate funding to a wide variety of causes; such as, Land Preservation, Natural Disasters, Animal Abuse to name a few. Other gatherings include trail rides and cookouts to name a few.

Business meetings are held every month and anyone interested may attend.

Our Christmas Party will be held on Thursday, December 15th beginning at 5:30 at the White Horse Tavern in Newport for appetizers and drinks. We will continue next door to 22 Farewell Street for a potluck dinner, dessert and a gift raffle exchange. Please bring a dish and a wrapped item either old or new.
