If you are between the ages of 11 and 17, and are interested in
An Adventure of a Life Time, why not join us?

Cadets meet every other Saturday, generally starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 3:00 PM. Prior to each meeting (drill) a Plan of the Day (POD) is published, both by email and on this web site. This POD lays out the itinerary for the up coming drill, including which uniform is required, any special instructions, awards and announcements. Cadets can advance in rank by completing training courses, attending camp, and spending the required time at each level. With each advancement comes more authority and responsibility. After completing camp cadets become eligible for advanced summer trainings, which are in specialized fields of interest. Maybe your goal is to attend one of the four service academies (West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy), join the military right out of high school, attend college or naval ROTC, or just try it out for a while, we can help you reach your goals!

The United Sates Naval Sea Cadet Corps offers YOU the chance to find out if you have "what it takes" to be a part of today's military. Our cadets find themselves training along-side real navy personnel such as submariners, pilots, surface warfare officers, doctors and corpsmen, JAG officers, and even the Navy SEALs. And the best part? You can even attend these trainings while still in school.

WHAT IS A SEA CADET?

We have two distinct programs, Navy League Cadets, age 11 to 13 and Naval Sea Cadets, age 13 to 17. Cadets receive training aboard Navy and Coast Guard ships and stations and wear Navy uniforms marked with Sea Cadet Corps insignia.

Our Mission:
The mission of the NETC Division is to build a sense of pride, patriotism, self-reliance, discipline, confidence, and other qualities which mold good strong character and citizenship; to instill an appreciation of military history, customs, and traditions; and to develop our Corps Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment in every cadet.
