Welcome to

The West Greenwich

Horseman's Association

WGHA is a RI based club that offers many types of family style, horse related activities such as open horse shows, group trail rides, fund raisers, clinics, banquets and outings. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month throughout the year except August. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in horses.

The History of the West Greenwich Horseman's Association

The West Greenwich Horseman's Association was founded in 1984. It was started by a few individuals who wanted to share their love and interest of horses. They wanted to be able to gather together and share good times. The first meeting consisted of only a handful of people at someones home in their living room. It has now grown to be a club of over 160 members that meet at the West Greenwich Town Hall on Rt 102.

The drawing above is the original artwork done by Celeste Santos that was used to design our club logo.
