Testimonial

"I was so excited I couldn't wait until the next meeting to tell you. I was interviewed by WLTX yesterday for our Project Hope Program and I wasn't nervous at all during the interview. I know I have only observed one Toastmaster meeting but I read the first few pages of the manual and followed the advise to memorize the intro and the conclusion and the rest will fall into place. Oh my gosh - it worked. I feel as though I already got my monies worth. I know I may panic the next time but I am going to enjoy this time for now. I said everything I wanted to say and I actually enjoyed the interview. Now comes the sad part - they didn't t air any of it. They interviewed two of our students and got shots of the crowd but once again I ended up on the cutting room floor and I had important things to say. I'm disappointed that I didn't get on the air but I have to say I was more excited than disappointed because I DIDN'T PANIC. I ACTUALLY MAY BE ABLE TO BEAT THIS. Honest, I'm not going to get too cocky but I am going to enjoy the moment."
