CUB SCOUTS PACK 47- UNION,SC 29379
Welcome to Boy Scouts O47 located in Union,South Carolina;the city of Hospitality.
We are hosted by McBeth Baptist Church,located @ 105 Lawson Ave.,in the old Union Mill Hill Community.
The church applied for and was issued a charter on march 31,2002.Our organization include Pre-Pack, Pack and Troop members.Ages are 3-15 years old.Our long range goal is to have an eagle scout.
O47 has started a game room in which we have purchased 3 Playstation 3 players and several games.As of this date,our catalog of games are 60 total.The list includes baseball,basketball,skateboard,football,golf, racing and other games.We also have a ping pong table.
However,we need at least 2 used T.V.'S in good condition.We will accept any electronic games to include education games for our boys.
Also,we need funding of snacks for Spring Break,Summer School's Out,Thanksgivings and Christmas holidays.

Our budget is $2000.00 and in order for us to meet it,we must have outside support.The funds are used for annual rechartering and membership fees,uniforms,camp outs and field trips,snacks and equipment.May God tender your hearts to support us.Thanks
We need approximately $2000.00 dollars to reach our goal for the year 2009.Please help us meet our goal.
Also,we need funds or good condition play Station 1 and 2 games;Play Station 1 and 2 players and a couple of good condition table top T.V.'s for our games room @ the church.
Thanks to all who has donated to our Program.
As of March 06,2009, We have 4 PlayStation 2 Players,1 PlayStation 1 Player and about 80 Games that has been mostly purchased @ GameStop.
Also, 3 good used T.V. Sets has been donated and some sport balls.

As you are aware and probably were a boy or girl scout leader @ some point in your lives,these great organizations has and continue to develop many boys and girls in our great city,county,state,nation and around the world in character development,citizenship and physical fitness.We have been and continue to be blessed @ McBeth Baptist Church,our charter host.The church applied for a charter and was granted same in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,2002.The program has matured into an average of 15 boys per year.In order for any program to succeed,it must have community support.Therefore,we have a critical need for you to support us with your blessings,to include donations,pledges or in-kind givings.We ask that you,your organization,business,employer or what have you support us with an annual gift of $5,$10,$20,$25,$50,$75,$100 or any amount you deem worthy of our program.We accept and thank you all in advance for any gift given.Our annual budget is approximately $2000.00 which goes toward our Palmetto Council annual rechartering fee,membership dues to include new members,local and county camps,meetings snacks,our annual fun and fundraiser spring celebration,training,games, uniforms,sport equipment and games.A significant number of the boys that join our organization are at or below the proverty level and cannot not meet the monetary requirements that make up our budget.This why we appeal to your generous giving's according to how you have been blessed.WE ARE IN NEED OF SPONSORS SO THAT WE CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITIES THAT IS OFFERED BY BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA.Our goal is to teach the boys good behavior so that they do not become wards of the tax payers.Having controlled events and meeting @ the church deter these youth from wandering the streets seeking whom they may devour. -------------------------

Field trip on Saturday,November 29,2008 @fter Thanksgiving to Mr. Gatti's in or Roebuck Family Skate Center in Spartanburg.
Will leave church @ 1:00 P.M. and will return by 4:00 P.M.
If we go to the Skate Center,will return by 5:00 P.M.
Cost per child:
Age 3-8 $ 4.43====
9-12 $6.00===
13 and up $ 8.26
Cost at Skate Center is $ 5.00 or $ 6.00 for skates and Pizza is $1.25 per slice.
We will take snacks on the church van to eat on the trip.
Parents,please send

We are accepting donations of any amount all year long.
Please help the boys who are less fortunate than us to have a good quality of life.

DURING THE SUMMER MONTH,PACK 47 WILL SPONSOR FUN FOR THE COMMUNITY ON MONDAY,WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY FROM 1-3 P.M.
A hotdog snack will be served and candy bag given out. DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED OF $1.00 OR MORE.WE WILL ALSO HAVE FUN FOR ALL ADULTS.
Everyone is welcome. PALMETTO COUNCIL CUB SCOUTS SUMMER CAMP WILL BE THE 2ND WEEK IN JUNE FROM 10:00 A.M. UNTIL 2 P.M. @ OPTIMIST ACRES IN THE CEDAR SPRINGS COMMUNITY.
