MEETING CHANGE! NOT 1ST SATURDAY

Sunflower Birdhouse

Cass Meinardi Painting Class

Cass Meinardi, a trained instructor for William Alexander painting, will be teaching how to paint sunflowers for our next class. Turtles and ladybugs optional!

You can decide if you'd like to paint the sunflowers on a gourd or a quality paper. Largher gourds such as kettles, tobaccos, etc will work best to achieve the full sunflower affect, but you can use smaller gourds if you wish. If you want to use a small gourd, you will need micro brushes!

What to Bring:
One Gourd - may be primed in any color you want for a background. Cass prefers slightly darker shades. The sunflowers show up very well on burgandy green, or navy. Obviously, yellow is not a good color!
Or quality painting canvas or paper
At least one flat brush and any other paint brushes suitable for acrylics (larger brushes for larger gourds, smaller brushes for smaller gourds)
Apron or protective clothing if you like

See you all in October!
