Darts on TV If you are like me, watching the big boys throw darts on TV is cool. Finding these programs are another story. Some are advertised, some are not. I've got my Tivo set to record any darts that are shown. Right now it's taping the English Premier League on Fox Sports South which is channel 630 on Direct Tv. Check your local listings for times and dates. |

Local playoffs ended with 6 players earning a spot in the regional playoffs. Sandy Hudson, Stephanie Bemis, John Liggett, Curt Carnes, Brian Bemis and Jeff Turner all qualified for the regional playoffs held May 17, 2008 in Aiken S.C. Karen Carnes and Ted Hoffman also played and the stage was set for a very strong showing by the local players.
Sandy won the Women's Bracket and earned her record setting, 4th straight trip to the national playoffs. Karen also played well and made the final bracket, she will serve as 2nd alternate for the national playoff. Sandy and Karen made up half of the womens final bracket and Stephanie barely missed the finals by one leg.
Jeff won his first trip to the nationals with a 3rd place finish in the men's bracket. Greenville sported 3 of the 8 finalists and Brain will serve as 1st alternative for this trip and Ted earned a 2nd alternative spot. They tied for 5 place.
The National playoff will be August 8, 2008 in Stamford, CT and will coincide with the $20,000.00 USA Dart Classic which is a World Darts Federation Event.
