Darts on TV If you are like me, watching the big boys throw darts on TV is cool. Finding these programs are another story. Some are advertised, some are not. I've got my Tivo set to record any darts that are shown. Right now it's taping the English Premier League on Fox Sports South which is channel 630 on Direct Tv. Check your local listings for times and dates. |

Local SCUDL playoffs for the ADO U.S. World Cup Team have begun and another event is scheduled for Sunday, June 29. The VFW Post 10330 will host the event which will begin at 2:00 P.M. and are open to all league players for an $11.00 entry fee. Karen Carnes, Amy Tucker, Jeff Turner and Brian Bemis have already qualified for the Regional playoffs which will also be held at the VFW Post 10330, on Saturday, July 26,2008.
The Reedy River Darters Association will begin local playoffs in July to qualify more players for the Rgional playoffs as well. If you need more information on these playoffs, which require pre-registration, please contact Chuck Hudson as 864-275-9551 or at Hud0012@aol.com. The SCUDL has built a small singles based tournament around the regional event, the SCUDL Summer Shootout, which is open to anyone. The league really needs a strong showing from the local league players for this event, so be sure to mark it on your calendars and come out and support your league.

The National playoff is scheduled for October 10, 2008 in Austin, Tx and conincides with the $15,000.00 Halloween Open.
The players there will be trying to earn a spot on the 2009 World Cup Team. The Worl cup will be in Charlotte, N.C. next year.
