![]() On behalf of Emerald Chapter,International Association of Administrative Professionals®, welcome to our chapter website. The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP®) is a not-for-profit professional association with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide. IAAP works in partnership with employers to promote professional excellence, providing valuable resources, education, training, career development information and networking opportunities that enable members to have more than just a job; they can have a career. Professional development and corporate finesse will put IAAP members ahead of others and allow them to become more effective contributors in the workplace, a valuable asset in today's marketplace. Benefits of IAAP Membership Local and international network of administrative professionals gives members essential information and insights on office trends and best business practices. Seminars and conferences Annual events offer a wide array of educational workshops and hands-on training including the International Educational Forum & Annual Meeting(summer) and Professional Education Conferences (spring). In addition, South Carolina Division and local chapters hold events and activities at various times of the year that are open to all members. Emerald Chapter presents an educational workshop each year and celebrates "Administrative Professionals Week® (April).
