The troupe presents sensitive issues in a safe environment that stimulates audience participation. The scenes deal with topics such as: racism, peer pressure, sexuality, child abuse, rape, individuality, teen pregnancy, suicide, drugs, and numerous other issues. Imagine That performances are designed to stimulate emotions and thoughts so that audience members consider the consequences of each issue. After each scene, the audience is encouraged to express their feelings in an open discussion led by the troupe director. These discussions lead to a deeper understanding of the feelings and thoughts associated with each issue. The cast of "Imagine That" also remains "in character" during this discussion so that audience members can direct comments and questions to specific characters.
