THE CAST
The troupe consists of 15 high school students from Spartanburg County. This diverse group of young adults varies in age, background and experience and come together to learn leadership skills and impact lives in Spartanburg County. These youth face the many issues that can become obstacles for teenagers. By making choices like staying in school, they put themselves on a positive path to success.
They participate in Imagine That as an extracurricular activity. Requirements for becoming a member include: pledging to be alcohol and drug free, being able to deal with difficult issues, currently enrolled in a Spartanburg County school (9th-12th grade), alloting a time commitment to the program, being able to travel for overnight trips occassionally, and successfully completing auditions.
Theatrical experience is not necessary, however, some of our students are currently enrolled in drama courses.

THE STAFF

Phillip Hudson, Imagine That Founder/Committee Chair/Director of Prevention Services at the Broad Street Center. Phillip created Imagine That in 1994. Phillip received training from Lori Hargraves (Utah Improvisational Teen Theatre Training, Inc.) to start this special program.
