There is a law going through the legislature that requires Group Child Care Homes and Family Child Care Homes that don't carry liability insurance to obtain statements from the parents and guardians of children under their care.  The statements acknowledge that the parents and guardians know there is no liability insurance coverage for the child care facility.

This may be a good opportunity to check on our markets and be prepared for phone calls from these facilities.  Or better yet, start contacting them to see if they want a liability quote.
