State Project
I want to introduce the state project for my term. "HOPE FOR HAITI"
I have been working with Dr Bradley Williams, a prominent eye surgeon in Greenville for the past several years. He and his associates at Southern Eye Care spend several weeks each year in Haiti working with the people there that have eye problems. Because of the diet and water many of the children have severe eye deformities that either prevent them from seeing or make them disfigured.
I collect old eyeglasses, lens, readers, anything you need for eye care and they recycle these items for use in their work. I have set a goal of 500 pair of old glasses for us this year.
Clean out those old drawers, ask folks in your social circles, family, to help you secure as many as you can.
These may be mailed to the address below or contact me to work out pickup.
