Greetings to All IWSC Members! Your state meeting hosts, IPM (Insurance Professionals of the Midlands) and SMAL (Sumter Members at Large) extend an invitation to join us Friday and Saturday, September 15th and 16th, 2006 at the Embassy Suites in Columbia for “Mystery at the Ritz in 2006”!! Too many details at this time would spoil the surprises we have in store for you, so at this time, we will only be passing important information.
We have so much information to share with you that we are sending registration forms via email this year. The registration forms can be accessed through the links to the left. If you cannot access or print the forms, let me know and I can print them and either fax or email them to you.
A little bit of information:
Education – 2 Classes provided by USLI and sponsored by Southern Risk – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – FREE – PLUS INVITATION TO VISIT EXHIBITORS! See information below.br>
Dress Attire – Friday night (Casual), Saturday Business Meeting (Business Attire), Saturday Banquet (Red Dress, suit, tie, etc). Our meeting emphasis this year is the Heart Association’s Red Dress Campaign.
Basket Auction – Each association is asked to donate a pre-filled basket to be auctioned on Saturday night. We have been doing this for several years now and, in addition to raising money for the State Fund, we just have a good time!

Greetings Members!
As I mentioned when I sent the registration form for our state meeting, being held next month in Columbia, the education information is being sent in a separate email. I am attaching the registration form. Let me point out a few items:
- There will be two classes, one from 9:00 – 11:00 and another from 12:00 – 2:00.
- Each class is approved for two (2) SC Continuing Education Credits.
- Each class is open to members and non members, free of charge. It would be really nice to our sponsors, Southern Risk and USLI if we could fill the classrooms.
- Non members attending the class will be encouraged to visit our exhibitor booths during the break and after the class, from 2:00 – 5:00 when the vendors close.
- This is a wonderful way to promote NAIW, IWSC, your local association, and the exhibitors that remain faithful to us every year.
