BUILDING THE FAMILY OF GOD

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, you his angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word! Bless the Lord, all you His host. You who serve Him doing His will. Bless the Lord, all you works of His, In all places of His dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul! (Psalm 103:1, 20-22)

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.--- Mark 1:41

FROM THE PASTORS DESK

I would like to welcome you and thank you for visiting the website of the Jamestown Road Church of God. We are striving to build/re-build families. God has an order for His church and the family is the key to that order. I believe that when we have strong families, then we can have a strong church and community.God has established principles for our lives through the written Word. Please come out and learn as we share together. We hope that you would consider becoming a part of this great church. If you have a special prayer request, please go to the church staff section on the side and e-mail me directly.

  • To Love and Serve Him

If our children only came to us when they wanted something and never to throw their arms around us and just spend time with us, we'd come to the sad realization that they only valued us for the "stuff" we provided. While it's not wrong to seek what we want and need from the Lord, if we seek these things in exclusion of a primary desire for a loving relationship with Him, we're not really seeking Him.

    • Are your motives for seeking Jesus sincere and centered around knowing, loving, and serving Him? Are they more centered around getting needs and desires met? Are you seeking Him at all? What changes would you like to make in the way you seek Jesus? Complete the sentence:

    • I want to seek Jesus more sincerely--to seek to love and serve Him by...
