On May 5, 2005, Commandant Godfrey presented the Marine Corps League Leadership Award to Conway High School Cadet Charles H. Jackson at their annual awards ceremony.
This award is presented to the Cadet who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, discipline, character, military bearing and military proficiency.
On May 27, 2005, Sr. Vice Commandant Gore presented this same award to Aynor High School Cadet Pressley Clark.
Our detachment is looking forward to next year, when these awards, as well as others, will again be presented. Any organizations in the Conway area who have members they feel qualify for an award should contact us through this website for more information.
