President- Olivia Speares -- My name is Olivia Speares. I am a wife, mother, student, substitue teacher and PTO President. I have two daughters age 2 and 6 and I have been married for 8 years. I am a graduate of Swansea High School and the College of Charleston. I substitue at Mack Primary and I am also pursing my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love the children and the staff at Mack and have really enjoed working there during the past year. This is my first year working with PTO and I am really excited about what the future holds.
Vice President - Lanie Shugart -- My name is Lanie Shugart and I have four children. Austin and Michael are enrolled at Frances Mack. I love spending time with my husband Mike and our children. We enjoy going to the beach and I really enjoy going fishing. In my spare time, which I don't have alot of, I like getting on the computer or hanging out with friends.
Secretary - Lisa Glen -- Hello, My name is Lisa Glenn and I'm your PTO secretary for the 2009-2010 school year. My husband and I have been a resident of Gaston for 12 years now. We've been happily married for 15 years and we have a 6 year old son named Dalton. I'm really excited about this school year and can't wait to help out in anyway I can. If there is anything I can do to help you please contact me and I will do my very best to help.
Volunteer Coordinator - Tammy Cathey -- Hi! I am Tammy Cathey. I have lived in Gaston for twenty four years and been married for fifteen years. My husband, Ken and I have two children, Grace 9 and Chase 5. We are members of Congaree Presbyterian Church where I teach Sunday School. I am a substitute for Lexington District 4. I love to spend time with my family and friends.
Volunteer Coordinator - Stephanie Snelling-- Hi ya'll my name is Stephanie. I am a blushing bride of 16 years. My hubby, Ty and I have four fabulous girls. Two of my girls are at Swansea High and the other two are right here in Mrs. McGee's second grade all girls class. I have been substituting at Mack for almost 5 years now and also hold an Associates Degree in Accounting. I love working here at Mack, the kids are great and you couldn't ask for better people than the staff at Mack to help mold our children for their future. My favorite hobbies include crossword puzzles and baking with my girls. You can usually find me around the school on any given day.
We had a great turn out at the open house! Thank you to everyone who was able to participate. There is still time to join and/or volunteer for the PTO. We would love to have you.
