The Bio
Ronnita Danae Copening was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 14, 1987. She is the second eldest of five children. Parents, Ron and Danita, grandparents Rev. and Mrs Copening started coaching Ronnita to sing at the age of four years old. She displayed her talents at many churches in and around the city of Philadelphia. There were two churches in particular that she often utilized her gifts for the Lord, one being Faith Canaan Baptist Church and the other, Second Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor William J. Scott Jr. and also Rev. Levan Johnson Sr. Although Ronnita possessed an awesome angelic voice, GOD added the gift of piano and organ playing at the age of seven. She continued the groundwork from seeds that were planted into her life the day she was born. Ronnita practiced singing and playing the piano for countless hours as a young child and continues to do so. As she becomes older, GOD continues to use her to minister to others as well as to herself by instilling the gifts of lyric and music writing to create heavenly songs of praise. Ronnita along with her family relocated to Columbia,SC when she ws fourteen years old, where she strives to perfect her gifts from GOD.

Accomplishments
Ronnita currently attends Ridgeview High School where she became a part of the shcools gospel choir. She will be graduating in May, 2005. Ronnita is the musician/director for the Children of Worship Youth Choir at Rehoboth Baptist Church, she is also the youth musician For Jerusalem Baptist church in Hopkins, SC., Rev. Patrick Harvey is pastor. One of her most current venures is being part of a community choir recently formed by Minister Darryl Izzard, known as Christ N U, which mionisters to young people in and aronud the state of South Carolina. Her goal has always been to minster to yound and old that Jesus Christ is the way. Ronnita's desire for the ministry became more evident in her wanting to spread GOD's message nationally. Today, at the age of seventeen, she completed her first demo recording on August 14, 2004 and her debut concert was recorded on August 28, 2004 , striving to take her GOD given gifts to a heavenly plateau. GOD is an awesome GOD, all praise due to our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. She continues to write songs that warm the heart and feeds the soul. GOD has ordered her footsteps from birth and he continues to be the foacl point her young and gifted life. Please keep her in your prayers and contiue to support her as Ronnita embarks on a complete CD recordng release for January 2005.
