OCEAN BAY MIDDLE SCHOOL PTO
The PTO consists of every parent or guardian of a student at Ocean Bay Middle School. There are no dues, no obligations, no pressure. What there are, are lots of opportunities to get involved. Lots of ways to help support the school, the students, and the staff. Lots of ways to participate and be a part of your child's life in school. A chance to see what they are experiencing on a day-to-day basis and to become more familiar with the staff. It's the perfect way to show your child just how important you believe their education is. And you know what? You just might be surprised at how much fun you have doing all this!

WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!
During the week of the OBM open house, the PTO will be having a fundraiser drive for nurse Shockley. The PTO will be collecting donations of boxes of tissues and hand sanitizer. These items can be dropped off at the PTO table the night of the open house (9/29/09). Also, interested volunteers can sign-up to chair events during the school year the night of the open house. Some of the events include Ray Day, ice cream socials and all other PTO events. The winning grade with the most donations will get a free sit anywhere you want for lunch day.

GROCERY SHOP AND HELP YOUR SCHOOL!

If you grocery shop at Food Lion or Krogers you can earn money for our school!! With no extra cost to you!!

All you have to do is register your Frequent Shopper card on line. For Krogers link your card to Ocean Bay Middle School and for Food Lion go to www.foodlion.com and link to OBMS Library/Media Center.

THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO!

Everytime you use your card while shopping, these stores will donate a portion of your purchase to our school. There is no increase in your purchase price.

PRE-PACKAGED SCHOOL SUPPLIES ON SALE FOR NEXT YEAR

The PTO will be taking pre-orders for PRE-PACKAGED SCHOOL SUPPLIES for next year.

NO LAST MINUTE SHOPPING!
NO MULTI-STORE TRIPS!
NO QUESTIONS!
NO FUSS!

This coming year the District Office is preparing one standard supply list to be used by all Middle Schools. The PTO will use this list to prepare the packages.

Chairperson Ann Kelly is busy working to finalize the details (contents, price, when and where they will be delivered to buyers, etc.)
