WHAT IS RAY DAY?
Ray Day is the Middle School's annual field day to celebrate the end of the school year. Each grade rotates through three different areas of activities. The first takes place in the auditorium where the classes perform skits. The second area is run by the P.E. Department where the students compete in various games and contests. The third area is sponsored by the PTO.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE PTO's AREA?
The PTO area is a fun one. In the past we have had a double inflatable slide, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable bungee run where the kids are attached to bungee cords and race each other to the end of the course, Boom Blasters, a climbing wall, and an inflatable skeeball game. In addition the PTO has supplied popcorn, freezies, and water bottles for the kids. All of these things are provided free of charge for every student. A favorite event for the students is the popular dunk booth and pie booth where students get a chance to dunk or pie a staff member for $1/try. Money raised from this goes towards purchasing a designated item for the school. Two years ago the money went to purchase the corridor signs for each grade level, the auditorium, gymnasium, and cafeteria and last year it was used to buy supplies for the teachers.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
SPONSORSHIPS: We need sponsors to help cover the costs of the rentals and supplies.
Last year the Carolina Forest High School All Sports Booster Club sponsored the popcorn booth and Costco Wholesale supplied freezies for all the students. Chick-Fil-A sponsored a game booth with prizes.

VOLUNTEER AT RAY DAY! We need around 25 parents to help out during Ray Day. It's a fun morning and we can pretty much guarantee you'll enjoy yourself almost as much as the students!
FAVORITE RAY DAY MOMENT FROM 2007?
Watching our beloved Principal, Connie Huddle, make her grand entrance for her turn in the Dunk Tank wearing a snorkel and mask, swim fins, and a little plastic float around her tummy. It was hysterical. Of course, it didn't stop me from dunking her, but it WAS funny!
