Pack 154’s volunteer leaders receive training at the unit, district, and council levels.  All new leaders complete Cub Scout Fast Start and New Leader Essential training, as well as BSA’s Youth Protection Program training.  Pack 154 leaders attend the monthly Long Cane District Roundtable meetings and the annual Blue Ridge Council Cub Scout Leader Pow Wow Conference.  Our leaders also serve the district and council in other roles such as Unit Commissioner, District Day Camp volunteer, Pinewood Derby official, and Cub-Parent Weekend leader at Camp Old Indian.

Scout leadership is a fun and rewarding experience.  We invite your participation!  If you cannot make a year-long commitment, please consider leading a specific activity, project or special event.
