Welcome to the Spartanburg Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission's Prevention Resource Center

What is the Prevention Resource Center?

The Prevention Resource Center is a lending library offering alcohol, tobacco, and other drug information, parenting techniques, skills for building self-esteem, positive peer pressure and other resources dealing with community prevention issues. The Center provides books, pamphlets, brochures, and videos to the general public, agencies and community organizations. The Center coordinates a speaker's bureau, county prevention efforts and health fair exhibits in addition to offering technical and consultation prevention services. Through the ability to access information on a nation-wide computer network, the center is able to provide current statistical data, up-to-date publications and research.
