Newsletter

January—March 2009

Dear ROWEM Partner:

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, the eternal son of God. It is He who Has redeemed us from our sins and delivered us from this world.

Next month I will begin my second year in full time evangelism. I want to thank God for His protection, provisions, and paths. He has opened many doors of ministry. Also, I desire to express my thankfulness to our monthly supporters. Without our supporters we could not make it. They are the financial Foundation of this ministry.

There are many prayer requests that I would like to share with you.
That my heart will be pure and in tuned to God’s heart.
That God will open doors. (At this time, I have very little for the fall and winter.)
That God will give us more monthly supporters.
That Ann will find a job.
That God will provide the money for our mission trip to Vietnam. (At this moment, we have about twenty five percent of what the trip will cost.)

Please go to the ministry’s website to see where we will be preaching. Also, if you can come to some of the meetings, we will be glad to see you.

It is a great honor to be your evangelist.

Dear ROWEM Partner:

I rejoice upon every thought of you. It is a glorious blessing to have you praying for my family and me. YOur prays help give us the spiritual power we must have to minister the word of God. Thank you!

The Lord has allowed us to preachj revivals in several churches in the month of March and April. I would like to express my gratitude to each church and pastor for allowing me to share my heart through God's word with them. Also, I would like to give praise to our Father for his enablement to serve Him and His Spirit for anointing me to preach His word.

I am still teaching at Covingtong Theological Seminary Extension of the Upstate. It is a real joy to help equip men to proclaim God's word and to serve His church. Please pray that God will give me wisdom and passion as I deposit spiritual truths in teh hearts of these men. They deserve the best the teacher can give them.

Soon I will return from Vietnam. Please pray that our Father will empower and enable us to teach the Scriptures to effectively ministry to the pastors whom the team will be training. God willing, we will be teaching approximately 150 pastors. Also, God has opened a door that is unprecedented in Vietnam. The Baptist pastors have received a permit to have a one day outdoor meeting. We believe many souls will be saved at this meeting.

Again let me thank you everything you do for this morning.

C. Timothy Fowler Dear Fellow Ministry Partners,

It is with great joy that I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only "name under heaven giving among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12b)

I have just returned from the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The Lord blessed us by allowing us to meet many pastors at the Puerto Rico Convention and to preach in some of their churches. It was my desire to go to the hurting churches, therefore, I preached first at the Isla Verde Baptist Church. There were sixteen persons in the service. Since this church does not have a pastor, I preached to those dear saints a sermon entitled "Marks of a Man of God." My desire was to help them find God's Man for his body of believers. Please pray that God will send His man to this church.

One of the most precious services that I have ever been in was at the Ponce Baptist Church. The godly pastor is Pedro Fornes. He is full of Jesus. My heart was so moved by this congregation. The approximately twenty saints received the Word with gladness. I trust that it will be in God's providence to return to this church.

Time and space will not allow me to share everything about this trip. However, I must tell you about the nineteen year old girl who was saved at the Iglesia Bautista (Baptist) Belen. With tear filled eyes, under the weight of her sin, and a desire to be saved, she came forward to be born again. Praise God!

I give thanks to God for one of our board members who sponsored this entire trip.

Since our last newsletter, the Father has kept us busy, for which we give Him great thanks. We have preached revival in eight churches, nine Sundays, and gone on two mission trips. We give praise to our Lord for giving us the physical strength and spiritual help to keep all of our appointments. Furthermore, we give praise for the souls saved and the help that God's people have experienced.

These ministries are made possible by our faithful supporters. We cannot do it without you. We give praise to the One who supplies all our needs for adding another faithful supporter since our last newsletter. With this added support, we are now at twenty five percent of our needed support.

I would like to express my appreciation to my good friend evangelist Tom Hayes whom the Lord has used to help open several doors for the month of December. Please view our calendar for these dates.

Please pray for use that doors for next year will be opened, that financial needs will be met for our four mission trips for next year, and that God will give us power to preach His word.

May the Savior of our souls find us faithful at His Coming.

Dear ROWEM Partners,

I greet you in the all powerful name of Jesus Christ, “a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.” (Heb. 5:6)

In this newsletter I desire to share several events that God has worked in our ministry and life.

In May God gave us the joy of preaching and teaching in Vietnam. God gave us the opportunity to teach and train approximately 175 pastors. Also, after some church services and evangelistic meetings, the team baptized more than 200 converts. Our future plans for Vietnam are to place as many bibles ion the country as possible (our goal is to place 100,000 bibles in the country) and to travel there once to twice a year, God willing.

We have moved to 760 Buck Creek Road, Chesnee, SC. How? God worked a miracle to provide a house for us. One of God’s special saints, a person whom I have respected and loved for many years, got under a burden to help meet this need in my family’s life. God used this person and other providential arrangements to meet this need. We are thankful for our new house. And we know that since God initiated this process, He will provide the monthly payments and other needs for us.

Our Father has been pleased to open doors of ministry. We have preached meetings at Grassy Knob, Riverview, First Baptist Edmond, Bethlehem, Oakland, and Morning Star. In addition to these meetings we have the privilege of preaching in the following churches: Redeemed, Blessed Hope, Ivy Gap, New Grace, and Bethesda. During these meetings, many believers were strengthened and a few were saved. God is to be praised for His grace and mercy.

During the past two years, I have been invited to Africa several times. Global Evangelism has asked me to go and preach in the schools, churches, and to do film and preaching crusades. If you would like to help us with this trip, it would be a good blessing. The trip is planned for the end of September and the cost for the trip is approximately $3,000.00.

Thank you for the privilege to be your evangelist.

Oct. 1—Dec.31

Dear ROWEM Supporters,

After five thousands miles driven, after sixty sermons preached, and after spending more than forty days being away from home, I can say that it was worth every sleepless night, every back pain, and every time I told the family good night with my cell phone because there were ten professions of faith, many saints were encouraged and were enlighten to Scriptural truth. Also, many pastors were helped and strengthen.

Please pray for Sand Flat Baptist Church of Cleburme, TX. As many of you know, the pastor Ben Stricklin was unable to attend the revival meeting that we had. It is with mixed emotions that I tell you that Ben went to heaven soon after the meeting. He is not lost, but he is absent; his healing has come. Praise God! Brother Ben is survived by his wife Tina, two sons, and the saints at Sand Flat. Please remember each in your prayers.

My fellowship with Bro. Ben in this world was far too short. But in the next world it will be eternal in Christ Jesus. I want to express my thankfulness to Bro. Ben because he was the first pastor to invite me to Texas to preach. He and Tina made that first trip very special.

My trip to Ghana has been delayed. Please pray that the Father will work out all the details for Ghana in the future. God has given me a desire to go there and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, but I want very much to go in His timing.

I want to thank God for safety he gave on the highway, safety in all the places where I stayed, and safety for the family back home. He is truly good all the time.

I offer praise and thanksgiving for our monthly supporters. They are a very important part of ROWEM. Every gift that is given reaps eternal rewards. Please pray that our Father will lead others to support ROWEM as we continue to preach Christ for the souls of men and revival of the Church.

Thank you for allowing me to be your evangelist. Enjoying Rivers of Water,

C. Timothy Fowler
