Our troop is located in Travelers Rest, SC, and we are one of the largest and most active
troops in the Blue Ridge Council. Please check our calendar frequently,as we will be posting information about upcoming activities and events (along with any corresponding documents), as well as links to useful scouting information. We meet most Monday nights at 7 pm at North Greenville Christian Fellowship.
Troop 282 has also recently started a Venturing Crew. Venturing is open to boys and girls, ages 14 to 20, and its purpose is high adventure activities.

Atlanta Motor Speedway's "Scout day at the Races!!"
Atlanta Motor Speedway's "Scout day at the Races!!"...is coming up October 25th. All Scouts in uniform will be admitted FREE to the Atlanta 200 Craftsman Truck Series race. One adult for each 4 Scouts will also be admitted free - additional adults may attend for $15 and children 12 and under with Scout groups will be admitted for $10. This is a major NASCAR race and this special day is being sponsored by the Flint River Council in GA. Make your plans now to attend!
