BASKET CONTEST - It may be a Hat, a Bucket, a Purse, a Bag, ETC. that you fill with goodies.
Here is thie info on the basket the Chapters will donate. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CHAPER NAME ON THE BASKET WHERE IT CAN BE SEEN. Place a card inside so the winner will know which Chapter donated the basket.
It has been decided that each basket entered will contain NO MORE than $200 worth of items. This will be fair to all entrants. Gather yourself or have businesses donate to your basket. Get creative with your basket...not just the contents!
Have your Chapter name the basket and list the contents and attach this to your basket so everyone will know what they are voting for. Ex. A Chocolete Basket filled with candy, hot chocolate, etc.
Please have your baskets to Harolyn Johnson by 9 AM on Friday, September 10th so they can be viewed and the tickets can be dropped in the boxes for voting.
August 31, 2009 is tht deadline to let me know if you or your group will particiapte in the Basket Contest. Email me at BusyDW@aol.com and let me know so we will have a cout of those entering.
All of you are creative, so, get some good ideas from your members and go for it!!!
Harolyn Johnson will be in charge of the Basket Contest. If you have any questions, you may contact her at 864-486-8652 or bellesmonarch@bellsouth.net and she will try to answer any of your questions.

The money collected for the votes will be given to the 3 Chapters with the most votes. First place will receive 50% , second place will receive 30% and third palce will receive 20% of all tickets sold for voting. Ex. if a total of 600 tickets are sold, that would be $600. 1st place would get $300, 2nd place $200 & 3rd place $100. Each ticket will cost $1 and all votes wil be determined by the nuber of tickets in each box. Tickets will be sold a from 9 AM Friday, September 10th until Saturday, Saturday, Spetember 12th at 9 PM.

HAT CONTEST
We will have a Hat Contest at the Pool Party. Prizes will be given for Most Elegant and Most Outrageous.

TALENT SHOW
OK - Get your Funny/Silly Talent ready. You may do this as an individual or as a group. We provide the sound and stage. You will need to have your music on a CD for the sound man if your act requires music. You may use and bring your own small props for your act. You will be responsible for getting these on and off stage.
ENTRY FEE is $25 Per Act. We must receive your entry by August 1, 2009. NO REFUNDS!
Remember even if you are in the Talent Show, you will need to purchase a ticket to have a seat. Tickets are $12 unless you are attending all events and staying at MainStay and that ticket will be included in your package.
