THE SOUTH CAROLINA

QUEEN'S COUNCIL

The South Carolina Queen's Council was founded by Kristi Speed and Denise Stinson. It's purpose is to "Spread Red" throughout the state and to give Queens a place to share ideas.

The state has been divided into regions and each region has a Regional Coordinator.

Each region sponsors a Queen's Meeting once every quarter. These meetings give you a chance to get to know each other, plan regional events for all members to attend and to share info.

Regional events may or may not be open to Red Hatters outside of the hosting region but they are always open to the Red Hatters in the hosting region.

The Queen's Council is composed of all Regional Coordinators, a Treasurer, A Chaplin, the State Coordinator and the Vice State Coordinator.

This group is responsible for coordinating the annual state convention and providing support to the regions.

THE UPCOUNTRY WEST - REGION 10 A

We are The Upcountry West - 10A members of the SCQC. We consist of all the Registered Red Hat Chapters in Abbeville, Anderson, Greenwood, McCormick, Oconee and Pickens Counties.
Our region will have quarterly meetings to keep the Chapters in these counties informed of events going on for red hatters, share info, meet sister hatters and have fun.
We also have a group of ladies from these counties that serve on a committe to help the coordinator stay in touch with all the Chapters in the region.
Your chapter will be notified of the time, date and place of these quarterly meetings.
The Queen and Vice Queen will be invited to these meetings. If for some reason the Queen or Vice Queen can't attend, you may have a Royal Escort attend. Two ladies from each Chapter will be invited to attend.
Our next meeting will be Saturday, May 5th. You will be notified of the time and place in the future.

PLEASE TURN IT OFF

Cell Phones Off, Please

Many Queens talk and ask each other, what do you do about cell phones?

Ladies, please turn your cell phone off or put it on vibrate during any Red Hat function.

Be kind to other Hatters and the hostess. If you must receive a call or make a call, please excuse yourself and leave the meeting area to use your phone so others won't be disturbed.

NO TALKING PLEASE

Shh - Quiet Please!

Have you ever been at any Red Hat Event and miss something because ladies were talking?

Many of us have and many of us complain about this.

Please, ladies, if you must talk during an event excuse yourself so others sitting around you will be able to hear the program or announcements.

Many times ladies have paid to attend an event and can't hear anything because some ladies get too loud and talk during the entire program.

PRAYER REQUEST

Please remember these Red Hat and Pink Hat Sisters in prayer.
