Welcome!!

The Upper South Carolina Basketmakers Guild welcomes you to this website. We are an organization dedicated to the teaching and sharing of basketmaking ideas and skills. Our guild meets the 1st Thursday of every month at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior at 6:30 pm. The church is located down from Red Lobster on the way to Taylors at 2600 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29615.

The picture shows students at the Sept. 12 workshop of the Lakelands Guild in Chappells as they make Jane Wilson's Small Appalachian Basket.

As part of the festivities at the Jill Choate workshop, Elaine Robson made some delicious "chocolate waffle cookies". The recipe is attached here. This is a great recipe - try using it when the grandkids come to visit. Let the children help make the waffles. Serve them warm with ice cream. download Chocolate Waffle Cookies
