Many employers fail to employ homeless because the first thing they either smell bad or look bad. We learned that we can help in this area where the homeless individual is willing. Why is he/she willing. Employment is the first step in obtain stability. Homeless people can and will lead productive roles in society whether we help them or not, they could either be where they will serve best or where they will be less useful. It is to the advantage of thye nonhomeless communities to involve themselves in this, mainly it is you could make the diffence.

However we have applied so much effort outside of our own country, and leave our ownt o rot in poverty. We need to first help our own. It's not a difficult task, it requires a certain amount of time and effort, which politician are beginning to show interested in. If these same politicians knew the number that the homeless make up in the state, I wonder if they can afford to lose the amount of votes that are involved?

Many non-homeless look down on them, the homeless, it can occur in any family to anyone at any given moment, and when it's you who are trying to maintain your integrity of living, you begin to realize the strain of the social eye. and will you only notice it then?, can you see that the homeless are human beings like you and I. Willing to make sacrifices to achieve a real goal in life. THE GOAL OF STABILITY.

In an attempt to make a difference Voice of the Homeless was born to initiate the first steps in preparing a civilization from being ignore for making a mistake. We must all suffer at one time or another in our life for the sins that we've committed so often. You can find that homeless people can be productive in the job market, 30% percent of the homeless community have already erected Columbia, made it what it is today, as they say a tourist district, many men and women skilled in areas of construction that the public only looks at as vast monuments, not taking thought to the sweat of the people who create them.

Should they be outcast, I'm not saying that they are looking for a hand out, but a more assessible way to live contently. Yes we are skilled in many fields. Employers, use us as they see fit, knowing well that what we're getting paid, won't achieve the American dream. It appears to be set up that way.

I understand that it works two ways. Lack of communication is also an area we need to acknowledge in order for the recovery stage to work, we must exercise our rights of life, liberty and the persuit of happiness.

How can we as a people hope to achieve posperity if we idly sit back and watch our government ruin the lives of good men and women. We still have need of affordable housing & we need instruction on money mgmt., to help homeless men and women, so they will not fail, and arrive again into the homeless communities.

We have talked to other support groups that are also involved in the fight, and we find that it is not an easy task to perform, all support groups require money, a luxury we don't have. I happen to know that all programs need GOD.
