As followers of Christ, our desire is to serve in His name. Through a variety of Service and Outreach or mercy ministries, Walker Avenue seeks to care for others both in our church, our community and the around the world.

I Samuel 5:22-23

Purpose: To show that we must obey all what God commands us to do.

God appointed Saul the first king of Isreal to carry out a command and he fail to obey all what Godtold him. He lied to Samuel that he obey the Commandments that God gave him. He only carried out a partial of the commandments. (99 1/2 Won't Do). Verse 22 Samuel told Saul to obey God is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. Verse 23 for Rebellion, is as the (sin) of witchcraft, adn stubborness is as (iniquity) and (idolatry). Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord,(God) hath also rejected thee from being king (99 1/2) Won't Do).

Freedom from Sin's Power

Romans 6:1-3

The question was asked in verse 1..."What shall we say then?" Romans 5:20..But where sin abound, grace di much more abound. This tellsme that God's grace is powerful even though it is un-merited and un-earned on our part. Sin is powerful,but God's grace in CHrist is much more powerful. When Jesus died on the cross, he paid the price to break the sin power in and over our lives. If we would believe and have faith in him as our sin bearer our subjective. He took our sin- on himself and bored our sins in his own body on the tree (the Cross). Shall we continue in sin or shall we continue to keep on sinning after (God) have given us his grace, his saving grace, his Son the Lord Jesus Christ (God forbid) and by the Grace of God and the Spirit of God I forbid it in my own life.

I am, that I am by the Grace of God.
