Habitat for Humanity Greater Watetown Region, Inc. was organized in 1990 by six concerned Watertown citizens. They applied for affiliation
with HFHI in March of 1991. The original founding members were David Biebighauser, Rita Buskohl, Sandy Eanes, David Fuchs, Thomas Gard and
Neil Miller. The first house was built in 1992. Since then we have built 20 homes in Codington County; in which two are located in South Shore,
one in Henry, and seventeen in Watertown.
