Let’s Celebrate!!!!! Ever year we focus on membership and retention which we need to do in order to keep Lions alive. During 2008-09 I would also like to year to be remembered as a celebration of Lions accomplishment.
Even though we are only one person or one small club, we are all doing a service. A service to our community, a service to LCIF or a service to one person who can’t help themselves. We are ordinary people being extraordinary Heroes. All of us are miracle workers. We are part of a worldwide organization dedicated to improving the lives of millions. If we think of all the fantastic projects and services Lions provide we are truly Heroes to those we serve.
Int’l President Al Brandel’s theme this year is “Miracles Through Service—Lions as Everyday Heroes”. Let’s make 2008–09 a year of getting the word out that Lions ARE Everyday Heroes!!!!!
