The BRICEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY is located inside the Briceville Friendship Center on State Highway 116. We are three and one/half miles outside of Lake City, off Interstate 75, North of Knoxville, Tennessee.
In this 420 sq. ft. room, the library has computers with internet access; an exceptional collection of genealogy books; thousands of books to check out; and lots of people of all ages.
New Shelving for Library
The library is looking brighter and less crowded due to the carpentry talent of Mr Earl Morgan. We now have beautiful magazine and pamphlet endcaps added to our shelves. Shelving built by Roy Daugherty, were added to by Mr Morgan. He finished placing shelves behind Daphne's crowded little desk so that she has room for our scanner (donated by Rose Waring)and genealogy materials, along with better storage space. He donated the materials and his time. Mr. Morgan is Daphne's husband's grandfather. The hard work is very much appreciated.
