Away Scrimmage and Game Travel Tips

- Always check and service your equipment before packing!

- Always bring your travel bag.

- Always pack your shoulder pads, helmet, cleats etc., in your travel bag.

- Always wear soft shoes, padded practice pants and practice jersey on the bus (game pants and game jerseys are for regular season games only).

- Always bring plenty of water.

- Always plan to ride home on the bus with the team unless the Coach has approved otherwise....a team roster roll call will be done before the bus leaves to and from the scrimmage/games.

May 5 - 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon - FHS Lower Gym

May 11 - 4:30 - 6:00 PM - FHS Stadium / Blue vs Gray Game Night

June 2 - 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon - FHS Lower Gym NOTE: We will have linemen "SHOCK AND LOCK" workouts and skill players throwing / route running every Monday and Thursday (6:00-7:15 PM - FHS practice field)...bring your cleats!!

Bible Study

Players

We have Bible Study at Two Rivers Church (link provided for directions) for any players who would like to come. We meet every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:00 PM....bring your Bible, bring a friend, snacks are provided, tell them you play for the Farragut 8th Grade team and that your looking for Jon Teague...they will be expecting you!!

STAR SPORTS FOOTBALL STRENGTH TRAINING & S.A.Q. CAMP

FOR: Current 7th and 8th Grade Football Players

THIRD SESSION - Starts the Monday after FHS Spring Practice is over.

6:00 PM to 7:15 PM - Cost $80

TEAM GOALS

1. Accountability to your teammates on and off the field.

2. Play your hardest every play!.

3. No turnovers and always win the kicking game! .

4. Qualify for the playoffs.

5. Win The Championship!!

General Neyland's 7 Game Maxims

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.

2. Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE.

3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.

4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.

5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.

7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

Attention all Players

We want to make our team a team of welcome for all young athlete's in the Farragut area.

We ask you, as a player, to reach out into the community and into your schools and make sure that every young man that wants to play football has a chance to play. We feel we will have (7) of the most qualitifed coaches on any (1) team in Knox County this year. We encourage you to ask your friends to consider playing in our program this year. Get them involved with our Strength and Conditioning program and our 7 on 7 passing league coming up in April. Ask them and or their parents to contact Coach Farmer (250-0245) direct for any questions. Our entire coaching staff will meet with them personally to discuss the specifics of our program and our coaches.

We want to be the best football players we can be and at the same time we want to be men of integrity in our community !!
