We are a Christian group and exist to encourage and equip families in their homeschooling journey as they endeavor to disciple their children for the glory of God. This is done by connecting and building Christ-centered relationships in which we may deepen our walk with our Lord Jesus Christ, disciple our children’s hearts, enjoy the privilege of being obedient to God’s Word, offer support, networking and information while keeping the “home” in homeschooling.

Membership in CHARA is open to any homeschooling family with at least one child in kindergarten or above. Your completed Membership Application must be accepted, and you must sign your adherence to the Statement of Faith and Statement of Policies. Your membership fee must be received to complete the application process.

1. Fellowship, encouragement, and shared wisdom from fellow homeschoolers.

2. Access to the website (we have a separate Yahoo Group for Members Only) – which will include information on upcoming events, prayer requests, member information, and group communication.

3. Field trips – most field trips will be for members only – if a field trip is open to non-members, our members will receive priority and a discount, if possible

4. Various activities throughout the year

5. Childcare at monthly meetings

Membership Fees

Non-Refundable Membership Fees (per school year – August through May):
Fees are used to pay for child care workers, paper goods, craft supplies, etc.

You are welcome to visit the group twice at no charge before making a final decision on your membership.

Early Registration - June through August 31st = $35 family fee per school year*

Regular Registration - September 1st through January = $40 family fee per school year*

Late Registration - February through May = $25 family fee per school year*

*Additional Fees may be required throughout the year for special events or field trips.
