The Chattanooga Queens Council met at the Tea Cottage
Tuesday, January 22, 2008, for our quarterly gathering.
We had a good turnout in spite of the weather, and some being "under the weather"!
Along with a wonderful meal, we shared notes on upcoming activities
and welcomed Queen Izola's new Vice Queen, Miss Marvelous!
They told us about their Paula Deen overnight excursion.
Birthday Gal, Queen Robbie, shared her Crock Pot Potato Soup recipe!
Look for it on the "Royal Recipes" page.
Queen Jan went over more details for our Queen's event
and asked for decorating divas and fashion show
volunteers to contact her as soon as possible.
We have chosen to make the TEA COTTAGE our own Hat Quarters
for 2008 and will gather there in July and October.
We will not meet during the Spring as "Sparkling on the Water" will be
our April event for all of our interested Red or Pink Hatters.

The Chattanooga Queens Council met June 26, 2007 at the Fox and Hound where excitement
was in the air.
Our meals were great! Pat ordered a meal that looked large enough to feed most of us. Wow that girl knows how to order! Dianne got a dessert that some of us just had to try and she was so kind to share. Yum Yum!!! Fried Oreo Cookies! It was all wonderful!
Judy and Dianne were the Birthday Girls, all dressed up in their red attire and purple hats!
You know how we love to share memories? Well...many of our Queens took photos that evening and we got to view the Naughty Grannies' Scrapbook. After eating we moved to the patio room. We were thrilled to watch the DVD that Queen Anna brought of the Red Hat Society Convention in Nashville (2007).
We also talked about the upcoming cruise July 10th. Queen Jan asked for volunteers to help with greeting the Hatters and delivering door prizes during the cruise.

When we met at the Fox & Hound in March, 2007, several great ideas were presented! Each Chapter Queen and Vice Queen talked about what her girls have been doing and are planning and we shared some fabulous ideas!

At The
January, 2007, Local Queens' Council Dinner:
We had a Great turn out at the Fox & Hound for a wonderful dinner and a fun show
by Fran from Sew Cool. She had jackets, shirts, vests, visors, warm ups, totes and more.
Girls just love to shop!
The Queens and Vice Queens shared upcoming events and talked about the next Convention.

The October 2006 Queen's Council was wonderful!
Queen Shirley, the Birthday girl, was hostess at the Golden Corral dinner.
A poem about Sisters was read by Fannie and all really enjoyed it.
We had some first timers this month!
Please keep spreading the word regarding our Local Queen's Council.
Our next get together will be January 23,
so mark it down now and you will be ahead of the game come January!
As you meet local Queens in our area, share our website address
or encourage them to email Queen Jan Huskey at the Vintage Roses link
or Webmistress Jenny so their information can be entered for this Queen's web site,
and also so they can be notified for our get-togethers!
Please send any ideas you have for the website or future gatherings!

Wally's Restaurant in East Ridge, off I-75, works well for our Queen's Gatherings.
We met there on July 25th,2006, at 6:30 pm.
Most of us sampled the buffet and had time to chat.
After everyone had a chance to announce upcoming events,
we enjoyed a presentation by Whistlestop Embroidery, run by Linda Gail Cochran.
Whistlestop is located at the Chattanooga Choo Choo,
1400 Market Street, Chattanooga, 37402.
Linda Gail's business makes and sells personalized and custom apparel items,
and has many Red Hat themed items.
She will work with chapters if they have ideas or need ideas
for group apparel or just fun gift items.

We had 20 attendees at the meeting held at
Wally's Restaurant on Tuesday, March 28th, 2006.

This was an excellent turn out considering we scrambled
the week before to get the word out to all the Queens!
